Privacy Policy

Last Updated: January 9, 2026

Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how NTEGame.com ("we", "us", "our") handles information in connection with your use of our website (the "Site").

1. Information We Collect

We are committed to minimizing data collection. The information we handle depends on how you interact with our Site:

  • Anonymous Browsing Data: Like most websites, our server automatically collects standard log data, including your IP address, browser type, and pages visited. This data is used for security monitoring, troubleshooting, and aggregated traffic analysis to improve the Site.
  • Theme Preference: We use your browser's local storage to save your preferred theme (light/dark). This information is stored only on your device and is not transmitted to us.
  • Twitch Authentication (Optional): If you choose to log in via Twitch to submit a clip, we receive your public Twitch ID and username from Twitch. We use this information solely to attribute your submission. We do not receive your Twitch password.
  • Guest Submitter Name (Optional): If you submit a clip without logging in, you may voluntarily provide a guest name. This name is stored alongside the clip submission for attribution.
  • Voting Integrity & Anti-Spam To ensure fair voting and prevent automated abuse, we utilize an anonymized identifier system. When you cast a vote, we process standard network information to verify eligibility. This data is immediately converted into a secure, irreversible unique ID used solely to manage voting limits. We do not store your IP address or any personally identifiable information in our database.
  • Hardware Benchmark Submissions: When you submit your hardware specifications, we collect all the data you enter in the form (e.g., CPU, GPU, RAM, performance metrics, username). This data is used to display and compare community-submitted benchmarks.
  • Verification Screenshots: If you submit hardware benchmarks, you are required to upload screenshots for verification. These images are accessed only by site administrators for the sole purpose of verifying your submission and are **not** displayed publicly.

2. How We Use Your Information

The information we handle is used for the following purposes:

  • To operate, maintain, and improve the Site and its community features.
  • To display your submitted content (clips, benchmarks) and attribute it to you, either by your Twitch username or the guest name you provided.
  • To verify hardware benchmark submissions using uploaded screenshots.
  • To prevent spam and abuse using services like Cloudflare Turnstile and other anti-abuse tools.
  • To provide support and respond to your inquiries if you contact us via email or Discord.
  • To serve advertising and measure ad performance (see Section 4 below).

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to others.

3. Cookies, Tracking & Local Storage

We use cookies and similar technologies (including local storage and pixels) to provide site functionality, remember preferences, prevent abuse, analyze usage, and deliver advertising. These technologies may be set by us or by third parties on our Site.

You can control cookie settings in your browser; however, disabling cookies may prevent some features (such as login or preferences) from functioning correctly.

5. Third-Party Services

We use a number of third-party services that may process visitor data. These include (but are not limited to):

  • Cloudflare: Used for CDN, performance, and security. Cloudflare may process visitor IP addresses and other request metadata. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile: Used to reduce spam and bot submissions on forms. Turnstile may process certain request and browser signals for bot detection.
  • Twitch: Clip submissions and Twitch-based authentication use the Twitch API. When you authenticate with Twitch, we receive your public Twitch ID and username. Your interaction with Twitch is governed by Twitch's Privacy Notice.
  • Discord: We use Discord for community discussion and support. Participation is subject to Discord's Privacy Policy.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to provide the services you request, to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and for internal operations such as troubleshooting, data analysis, and improving the Site. Verification screenshots and benchmark submissions are retained for the purpose of verifying and displaying community-submitted content unless you request deletion.

7. Your Rights and Data Control

You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data that we store. You may also request deletion of User Content (such as a clip or benchmark) you have submitted.

**How to request removal or changes:**

  1. Join our official Discord server and message an Administrator in the designated support channel so we can verify account ownership and process your request.
  2. Alternatively, send an email to support@ntegame.com with the subject line "Data Removal Request" and include: (a) the username/display name used, (b) a link or identifier for the content you want removed, and (c) proof of ownership if applicable.

We will respond to legitimate requests within a reasonable timeframe. Please note that we may retain certain information to comply with legal obligations or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., to prevent fraud).

8. Do Not Sell / Data Transparency

NTEGame.com does not sell or trade user data. We value your privacy and collect only what is necessary to operate the Site’s features. If you have any privacy-related concerns, you can contact us at support@ntegame.com.

9. Data Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure — please take care when sharing information online.

10. Children's Privacy

Our Site is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
